
Jury Awards $3.85M in Sheriff's Deputy Vehicle Collision Case
A San Bernardino County jury found that a sheriff's deputy negligently operated a county-owned 2020 Ford Explorer, causing a collision that injured a Hesperia motorist at the intersection of Hesperia Road and Nisqualli Road in Victorville. The jury awarded $3,850,000 in total damages, including $750,000 in past medical expenses, $1,000,000 in future medical expenses, $600,000 in past non-economic damages, and $1,500,000 in future non-economic damages.
