Education
Sid Binks obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University in 1992, after earning a M.Phil. degree from the same institution in 1990. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at the National Institutes of Health from 1993 to 1995. Prior to his doctoral studies, Binks received a B.A. in Biology from the University of Steubenville in 1985, having previously attended Canisius College from 1981 to 1984.

Binks has held various positions throughout his career, including Neuropsychologist/Forensic Psychologist/Faculty Member at the Neuropsychology Service of the DC Department of Mental Health's St. Elizabeth's Hospital since 1998. He has also been in private practice providing assessment and psychotherapy services since 1995. Additionally, Binks has worked part-time at the Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, a Maryland forensic psychiatric hospital, since 1999, and was employed there full-time from 1995 to 1998.
Binks has served as an Adjunct Professor at Howard University since 2004 and as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychology at George Washington University since 2013, supervising Ph.D. candidates in their clinical training. He has also held teaching positions at Gallaudet University and George Washington University in the past.

Conduct all neuropsychological services (assessment and consultation) throughout the 400 bed hospital.
Provide expert Neuropsychological, Forensic, Psychological and Learning Disabilities Assessments to adults, adolescents and children for both IME's and treatment.
Presently provide expert neuropsychological assessment services to forensic psychiatric inpatients on a 2 days/mo. basis.
Supervise Ph.D. Candidate students in their clinical training including psychotherapy, psychological assessment and neuropsychological assessment.
