Derek Gilboe

Mr. Gilboe holds numerous professional registrations and memberships, including Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenses in multiple states and regions, such as Alberta, Texas, California, Tennessee, Illinois, Louisiana, the European Union, and the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation. He is also a Chartered Engineer in Ireland, a Certified Welding Inspector with the American Welding Society, and an Associate Member of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers.

With over two decades of experience in the energy industry, Mr. Gilboe has held leadership roles at prominent companies, including Lokimox, Delek Logistics, Saudi Aramco, Spectra Energy, and Williams Midstream. He has been involved in major engineering projects, such as the Alaska Pipeline Project, offshore platforms in the Arabian Gulf, and refinery assessments in Saudi Arabia. His expertise spans asset integrity management, risk modeling, failure investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Gilboe has an impressive track record as an expert witness, having provided expert opinions and testimony in numerous cases involving pipeline releases, equipment failures, gas utility management, worksite safety, and manufacturing quality control. He has authored publications, including a patented technology for corrosion measurement, and has presented at industry conferences on topics such as integrity management and engineering ethics.
